Death World is a Homeworld. Homeworlds in Rogue Trader are the possible planets from which the player character can originate. The choice of homeworld adds extra bonuses to your characters, such as additional Talents, Abilities, and bonuses to different Characteristics. Death World is is a homeworld that favours survivability and melee damage. It improves Strength, Toughness and Agility at the cost of Intelligence and Fellowship.
On death worlds, the plants, beasts, and sometimes even the environment itself take aggressive and destructive Forms inimical to human life. Whilst exceptionally difficult to colonise, many death worlds possess valuable resources that require an outpost or other human presence upon the planet's surface to harvest. These harsh environments result in some of the hardiest and most resilient populations in the galaxy. Those tested and Found wanting die young.
