Fortress World is a Homeworld. Homeworlds in Rogue Trader are the possible planets from which the player character can originate. The choice of homeworld adds extra bonuses to your characters, such as additional Talents, Abilities, and bonuses to different Characteristics. Fortress World is is a homeworld focused on ranged damage, providing bonuses to Perception and Willpower while reducing fellowship, in certain circumstances it gives the ability to reduced the ap cost of shooting.
Fortress worlds are planets, where the entire populace is immersed in warfare; they constantly train For the day that they may be called upon to defend the Imperium, a charge they solemnly uphold. Fortress worlds are established as bulwarks against the enemy. Every citizen is a soldier, trained to Fight From the moment they can handle a weapon.
