Good mid-range weapon that you can get at the beginning of Act 2. Perfect for PSI - Warrior - Millitant build. There is a PSI perk that makes it even more powerful. Unfortunately, there is no high-end PSI sword for the endgame in the game.

The only other force weapon, outside force sword that Heinrix start with. What the heck?
The only other force sword in the game, but don't let the stats here fool you, if you're going to use force swords, this is the best weapon in the game and you can get it as early as act 2:
You get + psy rating in damage. If you are playing a dogmatic character, you can get Psy Rating 4 + 5 from Eyes of Joyeuse. If you're not playing dogmatic, you can get at least +2 psy rating from helm Eyes of Joyeuse. You can also get this helm in act 2 as a reward from one of Janus' colony development projects. If you're a Pyromancer, you can get +1 from setting yourself on fire. That's 10 PR on Dogmatic, 8 PR on non-dogmatic. So +10 baseline damage on Dogmatic, +8 Baseline damage on non-dogmatic.
Blade of light gives 1 + 1 per psy rating damage to force swords and 5% + 5% per psy rating to armor pen.
So thats another +11 damage and +55% armor pen on Dogmatic Pyro Psykers, and another +7 damage and + 40% armor pen on non-dogmatic psykers.
That totalls to 38 - 44 Damage, with 85% armor penetration for Dogmatic Psykers, and 33- 38 damage with 70% armor pen for non-dogmatic Pyro psykers.
Pretty good if you ask me.
