Gutted Voidship | Rogue Trader Wiki

Gutted Voidship is a sub-Location in Rogue Trader. Gutted Voidship can be found in Pulvis Platinum system.

Gutted Voidship Information

The first section of the voidship contains various mutants you will have to fight. They will not be a difficult fight but the Mutated Enforcers release a toxic cloud upon death and should not be killed with melee weapons. Here you can find a locked safe containing a Distraction Cape and Staff Of House Cassini, and at the base of the stairs you will find a crate with cargo loot. Pass an Athletics check to remove the collapsed bookcases.

The second section contains the ship's navigator and remaining crew, killing the last attacking mutants and protecting a relic. You will have two options:

1. "What happened to the ship and the crew, Hann?"
2. [Dogmatic] [Attack] "You've all been tainted by Chaos. Death to the mutants!"

If you do not attack them you will have to decide what to do with the relic:

1. [Demolitions] "We could lay mines in what remains of the ship and blast it along with the artefact from a safe distance. I have the resources and the knowledge to do it."
2. [Persuasion] "Trust me. I will take the sarcophagus that holds the artefact and deliver it to those who can destroy it safely."
3. [Heretical] [Attack] "You stand between me and that which is mine. You will die for this!"
4. [Dogmatic] [Attack] "You've all been tainted by Chaos. Death to the mutants!"

If you do not kill the navigator you will next be asked what will you do with the crew:

1. [Dogmatic] "If you are a true son of the Navis Nobilite, you know what you must do. Don't let the corruption that has touched you devour your soul." - Gain the Conviction of Faith permanent effect.
2. [Iconoclast] "I'm taking you aboard my ship. There, my word is law, and no one will dare to take issue with you, despite the mutations." - Gain 6 Navigator's Insight, 100% People cargo and Experience. The navigator will join on the voidship bridge.
3. [Requires: Navy Officer origin] "According to the Imperial Navy law, I am the supreme authority on this ship, not you, Hann Cassini. Obey the Lord Captain!" - Gain 6 Navigator's Insight. The navigator will join on the voidship bridge.
4. [Dogmatic] [Attack] "You've all been tainted by Chaos. Death to the mutants!"

 If you kill the navigator instead you can interact with the artifact sarcophagus. It gives 3 choices:

1. [Keep inspective] - Lore (Warp) test with a penalty if it fails
2. [Give the order to lay the mines] "We have sufficient resources and knowledge — we'll destroy this thing along with the ship."
3. [Heretical] [Take the artefact along with the container] - gives Torment Bracelets

Aside from the dead bodies there is a hidden chest close to the navigator's desk and one visible near the command consoles.
