Opticon-22 is a Merchant in Rogue Trader. Opticon-22 is a tech-priest and a member of the Explorators. Players can find Opticon-22 on FootfallMerchants are special NPCs that represent a faction and sell various wares to the players. Players have to increase their reputation with Merchants to be able to access more items from their inventory. They can do this by selling them specific cargo.

 

Initiating identification procedure. This unit is defined as Logis Opticon-22 and is a //fully authorised representative//structural part// of the Cognisance Fleet and the priesthood of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

 

Rogue Trader Opticon-22 Location

  • As you arrive on Footfall, you can find Opticon-22 if you turn immediately right from the landing spot. Note that you will have to defeat the Anvers attacking you in order to be able to find him.
  • Players can also interact with him and his faction, by talking to High Factotum Janris Danrok on the voidship's deck.

  • Players can receive x2 Mobile Extractium from Opticon-22 after accepting to receive past payments that were not made to Theodora von Valancius.
  • By selecting the "I seek the friendship of the Adeptus Mechanicus" option when talking to Opticon-22, players will receive the On The Hunt for Knowledge quest. Players can also receive the Hotbed of Xenoheresy quest by selecting "Why are you interested in Xenotech? Isn't that Heresy?"

      I translated his binary greeting that pops up over his head when he idles. It just means the word "Spirit". Probably a reference to a "Machine Spirit" if I had to guess. Maybe he is addressing his combat Servitor?.
