Nocturne of Oblivion is an NPC in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. Nocturne of Oblivion is an enigmatic Xenos players find in Chapter 3. NPCs in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader are side characters who can issue Quests, provide information and background Story, and even trade Items with players.
The key unlocks a door that then will lead,

Rogue Trader Nocturne of Oblivion Information
- Nocturne of Oblivion appears during Chapter 3, while players are trapped in Commorragh. At the beginning, he is identified as a "Stranger".
- When first met, players can ask Nocturne of Oblivion about the whereabouts of their Companions.
- Nocturne of Oblivion talks in riddles, he points out what he wants to say, but he isn't obvious. In Chapter 3, he states that you will have to keep fighting in the arena to draw the attention of Tervantias the Archmachinator. He eventually helps players escape Commorragh.
- Players can find him again in Chapter 4 in Quetza Temer, as you have to decide the fate of the Aeldari while you explore the planet with Calligos Winterscale. If you ally with Calligos Winterscale, you will have to fight him alongside a group of Aeldari, if not, he will join you against the Rogue Trader.

AnonymousWeirdly enough, he has a fully built warrior-assassin tree in most encounters, working recruit/deploy screen and sometimes spawns clipping into the location a npc on corner of the bridge if script or toybox recruited.
Makes me think he was supposed to be a secret companion option.
Has anyone tried to fight him with the [Attack] option near the end of Ch. 3?
