Diviner is an Origin. Origins in Rogue Trader are the possible occupations that the player character practised before becoming Lord Captain. The choice of Origin adds extra bonuses to your characters, such as additional Talents, Abilities, and bonuses to different Characteristics.
Diviners seek to discern the hidden past of the galaxy and know the course of events yet to come. These abilities allow diviners to look into the twisting strands of the Immaterium in search of the answers they seek and sometimes even influence the outcome of fate itself
Diviner Information Rogue Trader

Diviner Abilities in Rogue Trader
Forewarning
The psyker increases the target's dodge and parry by +(3 + psyker’s PER bonus + 3 × psy rating)% until the end of combat.
Foreboding
Creates an area that lasts until the start of the psyker's next turn. Аll allies within that area gain + 4 +(2 × psyker’s psy rating)% dodge. Their dodge chance cannot be less than (psyker’s PER bonus + WP bonus)%.
Prescience
The target gains + (4 + 2 × psy rating) Intelligence, Perception, Fellowship, and Willpower until the end of combat.
Perfect Timing
All allies that are currently affected by any of the psyker's powers gain the perfect timing effect.
Perfect Timing: when an ally under this effect dodges or parries an attack, if this ally has a weapon capable of reaching the attacker and has an attack that costs 1 or less AP, that ally immediately counterattacks with this weapon, and the perfect timing effect fades.
Precognition
Once per round, the psyker's next turn is moved up by 2 turns in the round initiative sequence.
This ability may allow the psyker to have 2 turns during one round.
Prophetic Intervention
Whenever an ally suffers damage that would make them fall unconscious, the psyker immediately gains an extra turn. During that turn, the psyker can only use Prophetic Intervention. This power can only be used under these conditions.
Prophetic Intervention restores the ally's wounds to the amount they had before the attack that triggered the intervention. However, the psyker's psy rating is reduced by −1 until the end of combat.
! This power can only be used by psykers with a psy rating of 4 or higher.
Rogue Trader Diviner Tips & Notes
- Note: damaging psyker powers count as weapon attacks, counting toward the normal attack limit per round and gaining all the benefits of abilities and talents increasing the damage of attacks. For example, a Soldier using the Run and Gun ability will be able to use damaging psyker powers twice per turn, and an Operative's Analyse Enemies ability affects the damage of damaging psyker powers.
