Sensory Deprivation is an Ability in Rogue Trader. Each Archetype and a number of specific Origins have many unique abilities that they can use in combat. Characters acquire Abilities as they gain new levels.Sensory Deprivation is an ability that initiates a Willpower resistance test for the target. Upon success, the target experiences temporary blindness until the start of the psyker's next turn

- Sensory Deprivation provides the following effect:
The target makes a Willpower resistance test. If it succeeds, the target is merely blinded until the start of the psyker's next turn.
If the target fails the test, they become blinded and suffer an additional -(5 X psy rating) penalty to all characteristics reduced by blindness and must make a Willpower resistance test at the end of each turn. The first success makes them just blinded, and second success removes the blinded effect.
