Take and Hold (Heroic Act) is an Ability in Rogue Trader. Each Archetype and a number of specific Origins have many unique abilities that they can use in combat. Characters acquire Abilities as they gain new levels.Take and Hold (Heroic Act) allows the Grand Strategist to choose one Combat Tactics area, granting additional turns with increased AP and MP for allies inside. The additional AP and MP are increased for each killed enemy in the area.

The Grand Strategist chooses one combat tactics area. Every ally inside that area gains an additional turn with 1 AP and 2 MP at the start of the Grand Strategist's next turn.
For every enemy that was killed in the selected combat tactics area, the additional AP is increased by +1 (up to maximum 3), and the additional MP is increased by +2 (up to maximum 6).
