Mercatum Tabula Officiale | Rogue Trader Wiki

Mercatum Tabula Officiale is a Companion Quest in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. Mercatum Tabula Officiale can be acquired in Act 2. This quest can be acquired shortly after completing Jae Heydari's A Lucrative Opportunity quest and speaking to her in the Voidship. This quest is also related to Jae Heydari, one of the available companions in Rogue Trader.

The certificate of an official trade representative of the Imperium can open many doors for Jae Heydari but without friends in high places, Jae can forget about her dreams of power and wealth.

1. Talk to the Master of Seals
2. Find the seal on Dargonus
3. Find the seal on Janus
4. Return to the palace of the Adeptus Administratum
5. Obtain the last seal
6. Return to the Master of Seals with Jae
7. Talk to Jae

Rogue Trader Mercatum Tabula Officiale Walkthrough

This quest is obtained at the end of A Lucrative Opportunity. Travel to Dargonus and choose to land at the Administratum. There is no combat in this quest but Abelard, Cassia and Heinrix will offer additional dialogue.

As soon as you make a few steps inside the Administratum a Servo-Skull will instruct you to follow it. The Servo-Skull will take you to a room with the Master of Seals. There is also a chest in the room that you can loot. Speak with the Master of Seals and you will be instructed to find two seals: one on Dargonus and one on Janus. Return to the voidship.

For the seal on Janus travel to Governor Vyatt's Estate, speak with Atilius Quint and tell him you require a seal to certify a Mercantum Tabula Officiale. The chosen dialogue options do not affect the quest but you will have the chance to obtain some bonus experience and/or conviction points.

For the seal on Dargonus travel to the Von Valancius Palace and go in front of the throne. You will see a cutscene with Jae and Clementia Werserian. Clementia will tell you that she lost the seal. If you have already explored the Ancient Bunker then you can immediately give her the seal. Otherwise go to the Nameless Star system and scan planets until you find Oasis V, which contains a location called Ancient Bunker. The bunker is filled with a gas causing Melting Venom every few seconds. To clear the gas do the following as quick as possible: 

1. Open the front gate
2. Rush to the boiler room
3. Interact with the valve
4. Take the valve from the next room
5. Replace the valve in the boiler room
6. Interact with the valve again
7. Interact with the cogitator in the next room and restart ventilation

There is a huge amount of loot throughout the complex. One of them will have the seal. When you exit the complex to return to the shuttle 4 turrets will pop out and attack you.

Return to the Administratum in Dargonus. Give the seals to the Master of Seals. A cutscene will play showing hundreds of citizens waiting in queue. You can choose to wait, kill the people in the queue, allow Jae to spread rumors, ask for help from Idira, Argenta, Heinrix and Yrliet if they are in the party, or help the common people as Jae suggests.

Major choice: If you agree with Jae and try to help the common people how you do that will affect Jae's character development path as well as increase her Trust.

The first person who needs help is a noble lady. Her problem can be solved the following ways:

1. "I have no interest in your little drama. I will sign the paper if you require a sponsor." - pushes Jae towards the Shadow Baroness path
2. "The lives of commoners hold no value. When you finish university, you will be qualified to save those who are truly worthy." - pushes Jae towards the Shadow Baroness path
3. "In the name of House von Valancius, I hereby make your fiancée a lady of the court. And release her from any obligations thereto." - pushes Jae towards the Independent path
4. "You wish to study alongside your beloved? Very well. I hereby grant you ownership of the Dargonus University of Medicae — you may admit anyone you like." - pushes Jae towards the Independent path and costs 1 Profit Factor

The second person is an old man. His problem can be solved the following ways:

1. "I will have my people buy your granddaughter's release and see to your welfare." - pushes Jae towards the Independent path and costs 1 Profit Factor
2. "You do not have to die, old man. If she has been taken out of service, then the time has come to release her." - pushes Jae towards the Shadow Baroness path
3. "I will give the order for your granddaughter to be repaired, but if you wish to be with her forever, you will also be subject to Servitude Imperpituis." - pushes Jae towards the Independent path
4. "How dare a prefect's property try to make use of its own life! Get away — back to your master!"  - pushes Jae towards the Shadow Baroness path

The third person is a wealthy lady. How her problem is solved does not affect Jae.

There is also a crate with cargo loot in the waiting room. After the document is certified return to the Master of Seals with it. Then return to the voidship and speak with Jae to complete the quest. The errand Jae Heydari's Celebration will start.
