Stranger Among Her Own is a Companion Quest in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. Stranger Among Her Own can be acquired in Act II and revolves around Cassia adapting to the voidship and the crew.

The Lady Navigator is at odds with the crew, which is causing serious problems on the ship. The Vox Master has asked the Rogue Trader to speak to Cassia to remedy the situation

Rogue Trader Stranger Among Her Own Walkthrough

The quest will begin a few warp jumps into chapter 2, unless Cassia has been permanently removed from the party. Vox Master Vigdis will tell about a situation with Cassia Orsellio regarding the rest of the crew. Apparently, her presence is disturbing the rest of the crew's life. Apparently, Cassia had a falling out with Abelard Werserian and Jae Heydari.

Return to the ship's bridge. Speak with Cassia. Optionally talk with Abelard or Jae about Cassia beforehand. Cassia will insist to discuss the issue in private.

Regardless of what you tell Cassia, she will want to ask three questions based on books she has been reading. How you reply to the first two questions does not matter but taking the options that require a skill test will grant bonus experience.

Major choice: How you reply to Cassia's third question will affect character development path.

1. "It is not always easy, but I try to lead the dynasty toward prosperity by worthy means." - pushes Cassia towards the Freedom path and changes some of her dialogue
2. "It is my duty whether I like it or not." - pushes Cassia towards the Subservient path
3. "This inner turmoil is clouding your mind. My protectorate, my subjects, my title are mere resources that I am using solely for my own ends." - pushes Cassia towards the Hatred path

Refusing to indulge her questions at any point will end the quest with the Hatred route.

After this conversation, the quest is completed.
