Rogue Trader The Lord Inquisitor and The Lord Captain Walkthrough
Travel to Footfall. This time the only map you can explore is the Atrium. By the entrance on the right you will find Zeta-42/33-Mu, who will fulfill the same functions as Opticon-22 for now. On the left platform you can find a crate in its top-left corner. Then continue down the stairs into the atrium. Once there you will see a cutscene of people being hanged and burned. This time the map will be linear, as inquisition troopers will be blocking most paths. Walk towards the entrance to the liege's residence, looting everything you find along the way. Finally you will find Chorda on a throne in front of the entrance stairs, burning some people and being attacked by a dissident who gets killed. Regardless of how the conversation goes, Chorda will attempt to judge you. If you ask her what she wishes to judge you for Chorda will reply based on your current highest conviction, but it has no effect on the story. Most replies throughout the conversation do not matter but there are some special replies unlocked by sufficient conviction:
- [Requires: Dogmatic - Votary] "You said you would not rest until you had judged every soul on this station. I, too, wish to stand before your court." - gives the Devoted Servant talent (+10% hit chance against xenos and daemons)
- [Requires: Iconoclast - Votary] [Address the crowd] "Those of you who acknowledge me as your sovereign are viewed by the law as subjects of House von Valancius and therefore are exempt from Chorda's judgement. I will take you aboard my ship." - gives People
At the end of the conversation Chorda will ask for your help in arresting Vladaym Tocara. It does not matter you agree or not - the The Great Judgement quest will start and your reply does not affect the available options.
After both Hunting Grounds and The Great Judgement have been completed you will receive a message from Xavier Calcazar asking to meet of Footfall. Liege's Residence will once again become available. Go there and speak with Calcazar. He will ask for help in reconquering Eufrates II. If your dominant conviction is Iconoclast you can only refuse but Calcazar will command you to do it. If your dominant conviction is Dogmatic you can agree. If you have also earned Calcazar's trust during The Emperor and My Right you will earn his trust completely.
The meeting with Calcazar will go drastically different if your conviction is Heretical. He will give you a chance to repent.
- If you refuse to repent then Argenta, Heinrix, Yrliet and Ulfar will permanently leave the party.
- If you choose to repent then your Heretical and iconoclast conviction will be reset and you will gain 199 Dogmatic points. All permanent character effects obtained as a result of Heretical choices will be removed.
