Rogue Trader Price of Humanity Walkthrough

In one of the scenes that play out at the beginning of chapter 4 Heinrix Van Calox will ask for your help in getting to the planet Phton IV. Agree to help him to start the quest.

Go to the Gartranfal's Calamity system. One of the planet is protected by drukhari ships. Defeat them, scan the planet and land at Excavation Site. The map is linear so go along the only path, looting a crate and a sack along the way. Eventually you will arrive at the excavation site entrance and speak with the overseers. You can pass a Lore (Warp) test to gain a little experience. When you try to enter the excavation site 9 mandrakes will appear, kill some of the diggers and overseers and start an ambush battle. After the fight loot everyone and get inside the excavation site.

Inside the excavation site, on the left once you're past the overseers, there will be a boarded up passage you can open with an Athletics test. Inside there it a crate with cargo goods and Malefic Tome - Belief in the Inscrutable. On the right once you're pass the overseers there is a Lore (Warp) test and a locked safe you can open. Then continue. The path left will be blocked so first go right to find a storeroom with some shelves you can loot. Go to the end of the storeroom and if you have sufficient Awareness you will uncover a message you can pick up. Exit and go up the platform to find Emelina. Regardless of the chosen dialogue options you will ultimately be given two options.

Major choice: How you reply to Emelina will determine whether Heinrix becomes a Radical or Puritan inquisitor, which has a few effects on his dialogue in chapter 4 and partially determines his ending.

  1. "Yes. Fear and cowardice are the worst enemies of the Imperium's defenders." - Heinrix becomes Radical
  2. "I would not have made the same mistake." - Heinrix becomes Puritan

At the end of the conversation more mandrakes will arrive, which you'll have to fight. There are three shadow spots on the map. If all mandrakes are eliminated three more will spawn at every shadow. To kill them permanently, interact with the lamps at the center of the shadow spots. After the battle you will have to decide the fate of the world and Heinrix will choose what to do with Emelina based on what he did during Secrets of the Cult but neither of these will affect the story. Loot the killed enemies and personnel and return to the voidship to speak with Heinrix.
